The biggest problem I have with making a Toreador is that I can never seem to pick an artform. Damn. Ah well. Need to talk to Cody about character possbilities. Anyone have any suggestions on an art form that isn't cliched or stupid?

Yeah, but that's been done. Alot. Hell, I've even done it and I don't play Toreador wvery often. That's why I'm looking for something else. I came up with metal working, but with the heat sometimes required, the fire and all... Not likely.

Admit it, part of the reason you wont play a "Combat Toreador" is because you know that most of your friends would curb stomp you.

Look, Raph, Vampires have clans not just because of blood but because of common interests. They choose people similar to themselves for their clans. So you aren't going to find Ghetto Ventrue or your beloved Combat Toreador. Conversely, you aren't going to find an art fag Brujah. There are clans for a reason. You want to play a combat character? Play a frigging Brujah. You aren't being 'orignal' nor are you being 'cool.' You're being a stereotypical mouthbreather that pisses off the good roleplayers in the troupe.

You, Raph, are the type of player that Justin Achelli actually complained about. He actually singled out the "Combat toreador" and bitched about it. Did you realize that? Did you realize that the creator of Vampire hates you so much that he singled you out? You.

Why do you think he said such a thing? I suggest you think about it. You should pause for a minute, sip on your Mountain Dew, maybe go to the fridge to get some more, and give it some serious thought. Maybe tap your long fingernails on that huge frigging pale forehead of yours to try to wake up your brain. It should be in there somewhere. Finished? Good. I'll spell it out for you in case you were distracted by the Cheetos and were unable to think straight. Raph, he bitched about combat Toreadors and other cheesy characters because they RUIN GAMES! You are the reason that the good players quit. You are the reason you'll find yourself lynched. You see, shnookums, the only way to stop a player like you is with fire and lots of it.

You are the type of person who thinks that the WWF moves in Blade II kicked ass. You're the type of guy who reads this site and says "Holy shit! I need to play a ninja in the next game I play!" You're probably also the type of guy who really enjoyed the Dungeons and Dragons movie. And that's fine, Raph. It's even fine that you call yourself "Raph." We need people like you. God knows that I would be lost without someone to say "Would you like fries with that?" at McDonalds. You're a much needed cog in our bonecrushing society. But you should know your place, and that place is NOT in an RPG. It's slaving over a hot fryer, or maybe undulating in a spastic manner at the Merc.

Jamie, I understand that this is who you are and you feel the need to cleanse and purify gaming, Vampire in specific, with a holy fire. I respect that but could you not do it on my jounral? I really don't want to have possible flames coming into my inbox for days to come.

And as a side note, he *is* a world ranked fencer and someone I could actually see pulling off a Toreador with swordplay as an art form with some style because he knows what he's doing.
