Bleeehhhhh.
Sep. 14th, 2009 10:45 amSo, I spent most of Thursday , Friday and Saturday feeling just awful. Yesterday I had just enough energy to feel better about having more energy - not enough to do much about it. (Saturday was pathetic in that after walking around a few blocks downtown, I was ready for a nap.) Today I feel mostly better but I still have a wicked headache (intermittantly) and am still a little fatigued but I'm feeling better.
Thank goodness because the /last/ thing I want to do is fly to Vegas sick. Again. Really, twice in one year would be a bit much.
I'm currently reading a book I don't like too much. The author seems far too fond of introducing characters just to kill them off. It serves, for awhile, to prove to you that this is really, really serious but after the third or fourth time, I started wondering if it was needed. Taking the time to flesh these characters just to off them? Hell, the fourth time an entire ship is sunk killing everyone on it. Yes, yes. I get it. People are dying and things are seriously dangerous. No need to hit me over the head again with the numbers.
I'm getting a tux. That's so cool. The experience of getting it at Nordstrom's was likely the nicest, least embarassing and frustrating clothing shopping experience of my entire life. I'm seriously contemplating getting a few more suits there. I like suits.
That, of course, must wait for awhile. I have the Geek Chic case coming to me as well as doing house hunting as I got reapproved. (Hooray!) I'd really rather not put out more money than those two things right now (though one is much, much more than the other one). Especially with the haunting spector of closing costs out there. There are a lot of nice houses out there and having gotten approved for /more/ this time makes the search a little easier. I'll let you all know if anything looks promising.
Oh Batman, is there anything you can't solve? (Shhhhhh!)
