Definately one of those mornings where I should have gotten out of bed faster, but I still made my bus without any difficulty. I got the coolest bus driver in the world from the U district into town. He was Italian, or at least spoke it well enough. He and someone in the front of the bus were in this animated conversation most of the way there and through the bus tunnel. Ocassionaly I would wake up, the words filtering though my brain, "Wha..? What?" It's kind of funny. As we were coming to the International District he was making sure I was awake, "Iiiiinnnnnternationallll District. Ha ha ha ha ha!" He sounded kind of like the Count.

Other than that, the Chicago soundtrack is stuck in my head. I'm having to listen to it all the time. Wheeeee.
You know? The more and more I look at stuff from Hellboy, the more and more interested I am. I might have to go pick up some comics. This stuff looks cool.

More casting information on the Brothers Grimm movie.

More casting on Final Cut - Mira Sorvino is set to play the female lead in "Final Cut" for Lions Gate. Filming starts later this month. Sorvino plays the girlfriend of a man (Robin Williams) who edits footage recorded in microchips implanted in people, removing the violence and bad moments.

From the Hollywood Reporter: "With a big-screen version of the television series "Starsky and Hutch" in production at Warner Bros. Pictures, the studio is now bringing another television property to the big screen, the '80s action-adventure series "The Fall Guy," which Management 360 will produce."

Hollywood hunk Harrison Ford is in talks to become the voice of popular children's TV character Bob The Builder - in a film version of the animated show. Ford - a father of four - is reportedly under pressure from his girlfriend actress Calista Flockhart to sign up to the project, because her two-year-old adopted son Liam is such a fan of the show. (Hee hee hee. Full circle at all? A carpenter...)

On X3 from Dreamwatch magazine and Yahoo Groups' "X_MEN_FILMS" section: James Marsden is signed, but producer Lauren Shuler Donner says Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart will return 'if our writers can deliver the goods.'" The report also reported that producer Ralph Winter said, "I think if we can figure out the story quickly, we could be out in a two year period."

Oooooooh!

Justice League returns with more all-new episodes in October.

Among the developments set for the new season include the return of both Vandal Savage and Aquaman, Las Vegas hijinks from Joker and Harley Quinn and a Christmas episode. In addition, classic characters make their Justice League series debut, including Amazo, Dr. Destiny, Despero and Dr. Fate.

Vegas with Harley and Joker. Heh. Hee hee.

I realize I hve a tone of books sititng ehre that I need to read. What is it about the books at work that are harder for me to pick up and start reading, more than any random book at home? I have no idea why.

I found a copy of the book I wanted on the Peloponenesian War. It was like a $40 harback and now I get a copy for free. I need to read that and the book I got on Pope Joan. I have both fo the Latro books by Gene Wolfe in one volume that I should read. This neat looking cyberpunk novel Gibson says it good stuff. Talon of the Silver Hawk by Raymond E. Fiest. I have a copy of The Summer Queen, but I need to read The Winter Queen, first. Anyone have a copy I can borrow? I have a book on Anne Bolyen that I'd like to read as well. And a copy of the writings of Baha'u'llah (founder of the Baha'i faith).

And there is even more than that.

So many things to read but I don't want to grab any of them, right now. Up until now I've been devouring books this year. Meh.
