You know? The more and more I look at stuff from Hellboy, the more and more interested I am. I might have to go pick up some comics. This stuff looks cool.

More casting information on the Brothers Grimm movie.

More casting on Final Cut - Mira Sorvino is set to play the female lead in "Final Cut" for Lions Gate. Filming starts later this month. Sorvino plays the girlfriend of a man (Robin Williams) who edits footage recorded in microchips implanted in people, removing the violence and bad moments.

From the Hollywood Reporter: "With a big-screen version of the television series "Starsky and Hutch" in production at Warner Bros. Pictures, the studio is now bringing another television property to the big screen, the '80s action-adventure series "The Fall Guy," which Management 360 will produce."

Hollywood hunk Harrison Ford is in talks to become the voice of popular children's TV character Bob The Builder - in a film version of the animated show. Ford - a father of four - is reportedly under pressure from his girlfriend actress Calista Flockhart to sign up to the project, because her two-year-old adopted son Liam is such a fan of the show. (Hee hee hee. Full circle at all? A carpenter...)

On X3 from Dreamwatch magazine and Yahoo Groups' "X_MEN_FILMS" section: James Marsden is signed, but producer Lauren Shuler Donner says Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart will return 'if our writers can deliver the goods.'" The report also reported that producer Ralph Winter said, "I think if we can figure out the story quickly, we could be out in a two year period."

I hadn't even HEARD of Brothers Grimm. How does a Terry Gilliam film escape my attention? I started to say I thought Robin Williams might be a bad idea (as the villain in Grimm) -- but then I remembered The Fisher King and Baron Munchausen. If anybody knows how to use Robin Williams properly, Terry Gilliam does.

*nods* Robin is an amazing actor when given the chance to be. The Fisher King, One Hour Photo, Dead Poets Society... He's so much more than just funny, though he is that too.

Don't forget Insomnia! He IS an excellent actor... when he's ACTING. As opposed to playing Robin Williams Manchild variation #17 (Jumanji, Patch Adams, Toys, Bicentennial Man, Jack, etc etc etc).

I actually really really liked Toys. It was wonderfully surreal.

Insomnia ... For some reason it just didn't click together for me. It was really good but it felt like there was something that just wasn't working.

I love Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. They're going to ensure the quality of this series.

They certainly don't hurt it. But, yeah, if having a good script is what it takes to get them, well... that seems pretty obvious there.

Has Halle Berry confirmed she is definitely NOT coming back? Because if there's anyone who's justified in complaining about the scripts they've gotten so far, it's her.

To the best of my knowledge she isn't coming back.
