Why is everything taking forever today?

It's the nature of the Universe.

The only day of the work week which travels at an accelerated rate is Wednesday (Unless Wednesday happens to fall on a Tuesday or Thursday). Weekends, of course, never last the full two (or occasionally three) days. Mondays and Fridays both accumulate loads of extra time that they must expend lest the entire univere destroy itself.

Superman slowed the Earth down.

I don't know, he was stopping some comet or some shit. Jesus, ask him. As if I understand the motives of Superman.

I thought the UN passed a resolution making it International (Except in Russia, where their calendar is off, and so their Boring as Fuck Day will hit in two weeks).

It's not two months too late yet, the UN hasn't said anything.

Sorry. Yog-Sothoth showed up at game last night, and space-time hasn't been the same since.

*sigh*

And you haven't even heard that song yet, have you?

It's on their Let Sleeping Gods Lie album -- the one that should have been part of the Amazon.com combo deal.

I'd have to say it's a conspiracy between Superman, the Flash, and that guy who plays sax down at the rich people's mall. cuz he's got super powers, ya know.

He has to beware of the accordian guy, though... the accordian is basically the kryptonite equivalent for sax players.

maybe someday we'll see them duel to the death! Accordian vs Saxophone -- who shall win?

With Apologies to TMBG ...
