The only day of the work week which travels at an accelerated rate is Wednesday (Unless Wednesday happens to fall on a Tuesday or Thursday). Weekends, of course, never last the full two (or occasionally three) days. Mondays and Fridays both accumulate loads of extra time that they must expend lest the entire univere destroy itself.
I thought the UN passed a resolution making it International (Except in Russia, where their calendar is off, and so their Boring as Fuck Day will hit in two weeks).
I'd have to say it's a conspiracy between Superman, the Flash, and that guy who plays sax down at the rich people's mall. cuz he's got super powers, ya know.

It's on their Let Sleeping Gods Lie album -- the one that should have been part of the Amazon.com combo deal.
