litheraPoint the first - Happy birthday to technocracygirl and angrylemur.
Point the second -flusterbunny is here in town today. He'll be picking me up from work and we shall head out to Celtic Swell on Alki to meet Gavin and ... I'm not sure who else, really. And then he'll be crashing on my couch to head back home in the morning.
Point the next - It seems that the decision about splitting Galactica's last season up into two seasons isn't a done deal but Sci-Fi is thinking about it. They'll make the decision in January. Holding 10 episodes until 2009 would be a remarkably stupid thing to do. The longer between episodes, the more people you're likely to lose. The midseason break shows that. There is a reason Lost and 24 and Heroes are doing whatever they can to mitigate or eliminate entirely time in between new episodes.

However, I did discover that Space Camp (which happen to be located in Arkansas) has weekend programs for adults. Mmm....maybe time to start saving my pennies. :)
