Point the first - Happy birthday to [personal profile] technocracygirl and [profile] angrylemur.

Point the second - [personal profile] flusterbunny is here in town today. He'll be picking me up from work and we shall head out to Celtic Swell on Alki to meet Gavin and ... I'm not sure who else, really. And then he'll be crashing on my couch to head back home in the morning.

Point the next - It seems that the decision about splitting Galactica's last season up into two seasons isn't a done deal but Sci-Fi is thinking about it. They'll make the decision in January. Holding 10 episodes until 2009 would be a remarkably stupid thing to do. The longer between episodes, the more people you're likely to lose. The midseason break shows that. There is a reason Lost and 24 and Heroes are doing whatever they can to mitigate or eliminate entirely time in between new episodes.

Make that "what I can find online ELSEWHERE." These are from Amazon, home of many things neat. ;)

Chicago has a science museum that is WAY cool, and the NASA museum in FLA is kinda fun.

My time in Chicago is always so limited. I've made it to half a dozen other good museums there, but somehow missed that one. Go figure.

Believe it or not, I've never been to NASA. Florida's always too expensive a trip just to see a shuttle launch. However, I did discover that Space Camp (which happen to be located in Arkansas) has weekend programs for adults. Mmm....maybe time to start saving my pennies. :)
