I stopped taking them because they were making me drowsy.

So, today, I was getting that same headache I was getting before. I took one.

I'm making myself giddy with how deeply I can breathe now. I guess I got used to taking in as full of a breath as I could each time because it was the only way for me to get enough air in. And so now I'm getting hyper off of how deeply I'm breathing in. I need to stop.

Note to self - the allergy meds really, really do change how well you can breathe.

Second note to self - those crunches and leg lifts make you sit up straighter and therefore breathe better. Keep doing them.

Is this a prescription? I would love to breathe normally again someday.

It is Xyrtec D. It makes me a little loopy but it does really help my breathing.

Xyrtec, eh? Maybe I should look into that; Claritin leaves me kind of sniffly.

I'll warn you. Even the non-drowsy packs quite a punch for me. I might be an exception to the rule, though.
