So.

I've been feeling generally down and upset and a lot of things recently. It is a good thing since looking back, I'd disconnected from all of that and even though feeling that way is bad, getting back in touch with feeling in general is a good thing.

On Tuesday I got my new corset in the mail. I'd ordered it forever and a day ago but it came! Huzzah! I've been looking for shoes for this forever. Seriously. Since before the trip to Amsterdam and I hadn't found anything. NOTHING that I liked. It doesn't hurt, however, that clothing styles that I like are coming back into fashion now. Lace and pinstripes and corsets and vests... Mmmmm.

So, yesterday, I went out and bought myself some ridiculously expensive leather shoes. (Italian leather, in fact.) I liked they way they look and then I tried them on. Never before in my life have I experienced heels that were actually comfortable to stand in. Especially ones that make me this tall.

So. Ideally, I want a hat to go with all of this. And maybe a cane. I need to go buy some fishnets as well. I have skirts that will work but I haven't found one I really, really love for it yet. I will be looking, though!
