Movie, movie, movie
Jun. 1st, 2006 08:45 amSo, to post something that isn't laptop death I present to you Wolverine movie news:
"We have two drafts and David (Benioff) is going to do another draft, and then we'll find our director," he said. "I'm not going to make a decision until I have the script right, but I'll definitely look at Brett [Ratner]. I don't want Wolverine to appear to be 'X-Men 4' in disguise; I don't want to make it stylistically the same. I want to do something different. That's my idea. Until we have the script, I don't really know who's right, but there's been a lot of interest from a lot of really amazing directors, so I'm really excited."
Oh please no Ratner. COME ON!
Superman Returns was moved up to bein released on the 28th of June instead of the 30th.
Jim - I know you're feeling kind of gray. I hope that Transformers pictures might help your day? Beware, there are spoilers here but if you just slide down to the links and ignore the stuff in red, they're minimal. And they're re-releasing the old animated movie on DVD for a 20th anniversary edition. (God... 20 years?)
There are casting calls going out for Season 3 of Galatica. Interesting stuff.
Avi Arad has left Marvel. He's going to continue to do films with them for awhile with his own company. To quote the press release: "Arad Will Continue to Produce Spider-Man 3, its Sequels and Marvel's Own Productions of Hulk and Iron Man."
The Fountain now has a release date of October 13. Something good to watch in October! Woah.
Jessica Alba was blabbing about Fantastic Four2. Beware spoilers.
Die Hard 4 is actually moving. I don't know if this is a /good/ thing or not but I have this addiction to Bruce Willis. The guy is just awesome. Hudson Hawk to Luck Number Slevin - I love it. In this case, though Die Hard 4 is being directed by Len Wiseman, mose recently of Underworld. The Underworld movies weren't badly directed....
And Neil Gaiman is writing the Eternals. (I know, not new, but here is a new interview.) I'm gonna have to pick this up.
