Movie things...
May. 25th, 2006 09:59 pmThere are a lot more X3 reviews. A lot of them agree with how I feel about it. Then there are others who say, "YEAH! Action movie!" And I growl at them.
The script for Wolverine has been turned in. If you haven't seen The 25th Hour, I recommend it. The man who wrote that wrote this script, so I have strong hope.
And there is even /further/ backing away from the 'no more X-men movies' as Lauren Schuler Donner is like, "Oh sure, we planned to have 7, 8 and 9 like Star Wars. There are certainly enough comics." Yeah. Well. I'll hold my tongue on that for now. I'm upset Mrs. Donner. I loved your movies before now. They all had heart! *grumble*
They're planning on making a movie from Kung Fu, the David Carradine series. I have no idea who you could possibly cast in that role who wouldn't just pale in comparison.
Jon Favreau says not to expet Tony Stark to be anywhere near drunk in the first movie. He's starting before all of that. You know, I love comics and origin movies and all but honestly... Someone should just jump into the middle of someone's story.
Apparently NBC saw everyone else's schedules and completely changed theirs all around in reponse. Very funny.
McFarlane Toys announced they have the LOST license and will be releasing a series of LOST toys, hitting stores late Fall.
