My weekend...

I had a good weekend. I cleaned, did chores, drove around a bit, played a hell of a lot of Kingdom Hearts 2 and got a present. Mysterious flower giving person, thank you!

Wow. Internet roses. Heee.

So on Saturday I went over to Anime Kingdom to turn in the second set of Escaflowne I've gotten that the discs were warped. They're ordering me another one, so... Here goes that. Maybe someday I'll get a set that isn't broken. I also went to Best Buy since I had $10 off that was going to expire and I'd gotten a triple points offer in the mail and so on and so forth.

So! I go into the store and there is all of this stuff 40% off. And I'm like, Huh... Anything good? And there were vacuums! I ended up getting a $170 vacuum for about $65. I didn't really /need/ a new vacuum but my old one just doesn't feel like it is getting the job done anymore. And my first tour around the apartment may well have proved me right on that. It is still a good little vacuum, it just can't handle my hair. Which shouldn't be surprising, really.

I played a ton of Kingdom Hearts 2. In fact, I got to say "Oh crap. Sephiroth." a few times over the weekend. But really, he's oh so pretty and I love seeing him. I love watching him and Cloud bitch at each other and Cloud and Leon be all smarmy. It really did make me smile. I know, I'm easily pleased in some things. AND WHERE THE HELL IS RIKU? *ahem*

And as for the weekend's TV, for the first time since Junoir High, there is no new Kevin Conroy Batman on TV. And it makes me very sad. That's like... 16 years. Crazy. The West Wing ended and I enjoyed the episode. I'll miss it. I'll miss it and my happy idealized view of what government is and could be. And on Grey's Anatomy - Dear Christ, Izzy is too stupid to live. Seriously. WTF

Riku, every moment that he's not on the screen, is having sex with Leon. That's where he is. Sometimes Tron gets in on it.

Is the vacuum sale still on? We need one.

No. That isn't where Riku is. I think that Riku is off enjoying tropical drinks somewhere while watchign Sora on a screen and laughing at his angst and pain at trying to find him.

I don't know. It was a Mother's Day sort of thing, so it might be? You can always go over to the Bellevue Best Buy and check. Or you could buy my old vacuum cleaner if you don't need a monster vacuum cleaner.

What kind of trap would it be in having a Mother's Day Vacuum Sale? I cannot think of many things that would me more likely to get me smacked than to get my Mom a vacuum for Mother's Day.

Well, there just happened to be vacuums in the group of stuff that they had for 40% off. I, personally, would love it if someone bought me, for instance, a Dyson. Even for Mother's Day. Because I love them. They're cool.
