I feel about a kabillion times better today than I did yesterday.

This, of course, still means that I'm having some trouble breathing and I'm coughing up junk but... Yeah, so what? I feel better.

Of course, some of this is because OLN showed the 2002 Wings winning the Cup game 5. And then they showed highlights of the 97 and 98 wins. Seeing Vlady again made me cry. I completely remember that moment in 98 where he stood up from his wheelchair in the third period. Man. Stuff like that is the stuff of movies. There was no way they could lose after that.

Stevie Y says he's expecting to come to a decision on retirement very quickly. Man. I'm gonna be in a serious funk. He's been playing for the Wings for as long as I've payed attention to hockey. He's really getting to the point where he should retire but... Man. I'll talk more about it later, I'm sure.

Anyway... I feel better. I have a weekend shortly to finish recovering and that will be excellent. Then on Monday, I slip back into the walking to work and low carbness.

I saw a Game Seven the other day from, I want to say '95 or '96 with Colorado and Detroit. It went five OTs and ended in a 1-0 game. Both goalies were amazing and I remember being exhausted the next day because I love to watch Game Sevens in hockey with two goalies who have decided that nobody is every going to score on them.

Damn, that was a good game. I think that was '96. I think.

I think that was the same series where the Wings were down 5-1 and came back to win it. I was about to turn off the TV in disgust and Stevie Y scored and I was like... Well... Maybe...
