Wow.

This show is.... awful. But yet still watchable.

Apparently Iceman has a sister with powers. I had no idea. Did you?

And Spider-man, Firestar and Iceman went into space on the outside of a rocket with the protection of... an ice shield.

So, in about half an hour, I'm going to go get on the bus and head to the airport. I've certainly hit the freaking out portion of the program. I have a feeling as to why I do this but one of these days I might figure it out for certain.

Stan Lee helps me, though. Because he is mighty.

Power Rangers, though, are not what I want to see.

And last night's Robot Chicken featured such awesomeness as Dance Dance Counter-Revolution, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Dragon's Lair and Highlander. It amused me. Which is what I want it to do.

It was, in fact, Lightray. And I haven't seen it on DVD yet.

It is on the ABC Family channel in the mornings, apparently.

And now, I must run.

It's also on Toon Disney.

I watched it religiously as a kid. And it's got a sweet nostalgia about it now, though I can see through the dread cheapo animation [which was, for 1981, state of the art].

I have fond memories of the "Swarm" episode. A couple years after it was first broadcast, my younger sister and I were babysiting a small group of kids when it came on again. I identified it in two seconds, saying, "Oh, it's the anti-Communist episode." My sister was a little cranky at the time, and told me rather sharply that I should stop assuming there was a hidden meaning in everything.

Shortly afterwards, the patriotic fanfare came to back up Spidey's speech about humans were individuals.

I got an apology.

Y'know, I knew that. How the hell did I type... Oh, right. Lightray's a New God.
