I walked passed the newspaper boxes this morning and read something like Steinem has strong words on abortion. And my response to that was... No, really?

I mean, duh.

And Colorado traded Aebischer for Theodore. Which is a trade which still confuses me. Especially since Jose is still injured at the moment. I R confused.

Ummmmm. What else?

I don't know. I'm discovering that there are a lot of cheesey movies that I want to own that I don't have. That I /should/ have. Wheeeee.

And of course Steinem went balistic over the South Dakota ban...that's her job.
I am pretty deeply upset, myself. It is a long, sad road this country to heading down and I am a bit worried about this anti-sex thing. The birth control pill issue in pharmacies (any fool who tries to deny me mine will regret it with deep, lasting emotional scars), and now this. Grrr.
She makes some truly valid points in the midst of her usual rhetoric, I just wish people who mattered in politics were actually listening to her.

I'm worried. Of course, I've spent most of the past six years worried. I keep remembering that we only have two more to go but there is so much damage that can be done in the next two... Not to mention the Supreme Court situation...

*sighs*

Yeah that was a bad time for all that to happen. It is said the Renquist TOLD people he didn't want to die or retire while Bush was still in office, but c'est la vie.

We just got to hold out and see what happens next.
Hope springs eternal, right?
