It is March.

What the hell is up with that? Wasn't it just January?

A few unrelated points:
Recently I've been struck by a lot of 'and where were you' sorts of moments. Someone will say something and I will realize that I need a better response to it. I don't know if there is a way people react well to you saying that you already knew their awesome news. Especially if it is months late. Closer to it you can generate some excitement with them and that helps... I don't know. Hrm.

My birthday is soon. Crazy. People, does the weekend of the 18th or the 25th work better for you? There is now a scheduling conflict for some people on the 18th for the birthday walk/dinner/hanging out and so before we move it, we want to know what is up. So. What is better?

Money is stupid. I dislike it.

I have to figure out my Maid of Honor dress for my sister's wedding. It would be nice if I knew what sort of whatever I have to put together so I could start working on finding a place for a dress. Style? Color? What?

I need to change the month on my calendar.

Work is slow today. Thank God. Because the past few weeks were with the crazy making.

Not sure... there's been a couple of times that I've said something like "Hey, found this great thing" and your response is "Oh, I posted about that months ago." It's hard to know what to say to that, really!

And it isn't meant to be critical and I've realized that it is but I just really don't know what to say. And it isn't just like... movie things or comics things... Sometimes it is things people notice about me. I haven't figured out a way to respond well other than... Huh?

Shared enthusiasm sounds like a start - if applicable. It isn't always.

To Kris' example specifically, it could be a response of "Yeah, I know! I posted about it a while ago, but aint it cool???" instead of a more "oh, yeah, been there"

Like you said, shared enthusiasm. Or at the very least, aknowledging that they came to the same realizations you did and encouraging them in that can be a good start.

*shrug*

Me, I don't remember what I had for breakfast (oh, wait, that's right, it was 'nothing'), so I probabally wouldn't notice people posting / mentioning things that I had already said.

what do you mean, things people notice about you?

Habits of mine. Things I do. Things I like. Things I don't like. Ways of behaviour.

For a (ludicris) example - someone I've known for awhile comes up to me and says, "You know, I was thinking and I've noticed that your hair... it has this curly wavey thing it does." I'm normally at a loss of what to do or say other than say something like, "Really?" which always sounds like, "How did you miss it?" which isn't the intention but the rest of my brain takes a bit to catch up.
