Apparently we're going to do the Legion.

"Andy Milder has been cast for the voice of Lighting Lad in the upcoming animated series featuring the Legion of Super-Heroes. The series is expected to be announced soon. Creators from both Justice League Unlimited and Teen Titans are involved in the project."

This has been in the works for quite some time now, mostly because the Legion is DC's biggest superhero property that barely interacts with the rest of the DC Universe and therefore mostly evades the rights issues that plagued Teen Titans and JLU.

And Bruce Timm and Paul Dini are both involved in it, so I am hopeful.

Yeah. It makes sense that they'd go this way. I heard about it a long time ago but I hadn't heard anything in months, so I'd sort of forgotten about it. I'm not big into Legion but I hope that it goes well simply because I love everything else they've done so far.

Chances are they'll do their own version, an iconic distilling of everything they find cool in Legion history. So in other words, yet another rehash of Legion history.

Not that that's a bad thing. I like retellings of favorite tales.
