From Michelle -

The contractors the city sent in to fix the sewage damage were blocking the heating ducts with foam. They forgot to take 1 or 2 of them out and then told Todd to turn on the heater. The oil furnace. The house went up and is pretty much gone. He will be getting money for it but that could be some time.

Michelle is currently asking for people to donate to the Red Cross because the Red Cross is helping them out. The two kids are Tyler (12) and Kayleigh (8). If anyone has anything for two geeky kids of that age, things will be appreciated.

If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to hearing them.

Apparently they're good for clothes. Those are being replaced en masse.

Toys and stuffed animals to keep the kids busy in the meanwhile remain good things. I definitely want to make sure Kayleigh gets a new stuffed cthulu, at least. Good, age-appropriate reading material for them both would also be good, since both of them are rather intelligent kids, and I know David tears through books.

I'm sure having the video would be helpful as well.

Which version of the cthulu? I can cover that...I want to get a couple for my nephews anyway since they have birthdays coming.

I think Kat has that covered, but other stuffed animals would be good. Also wanted to know if you're willing to donate some of your younger-age targetted books? I figured it wouldn't be an issue, but thought I should check.
