For the next seventeen days, I'm going to be talking about the Olympics.

Probably a lot.

Something about the Olympics makes me happy. They turn me into an 8 year old.

I think they're just amazing. I cannot express enough how much I love watching them. All of them.

I'm thrilled that they're coming to Vancouver in 2010.

And the Koreas are marching in together again. There are talks for them to compete as one country in 2008.

I think the best thing about the Olympics, both seasons, is that no matter what kind of sport you're into, there's always something cool. Even if your sport isn't really a sport.

The Koreans competing as one country would be awesome. It does make me think about the weird ebb and flow of countries and nations, though... so much division in Europe because disparate cultures had been held together by ideology, while in Asia one culture is split by ideology. Weird.
