Movie stuff
Jan. 30th, 2006 01:33 pmApparently Fantastic Four 2 is begining to film in August in Vancouver. Rumor has it that Doom will be the bady guy again but Julian McMahon won't be playing him. Of course his face is a big metal plate now, so that's workable. There will be more Alicia Masters in this one too.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix starts shooting in just a few days. George Harris, Captain Katanga from Raiders of the Lost Ark, will be playing Kingsley Shacklebolt. Robbie Jarvis will be playing Harry Potter’s father.
New Line announced that, oh the shock, that there will be a new Friday the 13th movie reliease on... October 13th, 2006. It is supposed to be a prequel, an origin movie, which seems a little odd but ... *shrugs*
Andy Serkis has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan's newest The Prestige. The cast of this movie alone means I have to see it. Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine, David Bowie, Scarlett Johansson and Piper Perab. Apparently David Bowie is Nicolas Telsa and Serkis will be a magician's assistant. Based on Christopher Priest's 1996 novel, Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman will play rival magicians in turn-of-the-century London who battle each other for trade secrets. The rivalry is so intense that it turns them into murderers. The title refers to the residue left after a magician's successful trick.
