Wheeee. A weekend.
Jan. 16th, 2006 09:19 amI'm sleepy. That would probably be because I got like... little sleep the past few nights but that's okay. It might also be that I'm weeding caffine out of my intake but that's only started in the past less than a day, so that is highly doubtful. I will be withdrawl girl for awhile and that will be interesting.
I have a goal. I shall see if I can stick to it. Go me.
Played CivIV with Mike. Learned that my laptop does not like hosting CivIV internet games much at all.
Saturday I went to RustyCon. It was a /very/ relaxed Con. Laid back and... yeah. Really just slack. That's okay, though. I sort of needed that. There is a sort of relaxation I get at a Con that I don't get elsewhere. I'm not really sure why that is. We watched a lot of movies, I did some dancing, I made some plans and I hung out with friends. What more could I ask?
Matt and I went to see Cassanova yesterday after leaving the Con. It was much better than I thought it would be. I thought it would be light and fluffy and it was but Heath Ledger was something to behold. Very charming and quite the expressions he can give with the slightest shifts in his face. As far away from his character in Brokeback Mountain in pretty much every way. Oliver Platt and Jeremy Irons were great fun as well.
I'm at work today but that's okay because I walked this morning. (No, that doesn't make much sense to me but that is what I'm using right now.)
Sean and I talked a lot about getting out and doing more. I think once a month we should reserve a weekend for getting out and doing stuff. I don't care what it is as long as it is physical activity. One weekend a month. And I'm thinking of looking into the local pools. I used to like swimming. I used to be really good at it. I should look into doing laps somewhere.

Date: 2006-01-16 11:04 pm (UTC)I'm cutting out carbs and most of the carbs = sugar in one form of some sort. I'm not crazy and psycho with my totally killing out carbs but in order to start I need to sort of flat line and then start adding back in the good sorts of sugar things. I have yet to do any really crazy things with it.
And I think the headache has started.

Date: 2006-01-16 11:07 pm (UTC)I think the key, even to cutting back, is moderation. Cold turkey will often just system shock you.
As for the headache, oi. I'm totally understanding. *HUGS!!*
