So... My commentary on a trailer...
Dec. 6th, 2005 08:57 amX3...
So, why does everyone, except Storm have longer hair? It looks good but is that a 'passage of time' thing? I like Jean and Rogue's hair all longer but it seems almost absurd on Jean.
Nightcraw... Errr. Beast looks really bad in most of the lighting they show him in.
This already has a much different look to it, even from the trailer. Everything seems more 'real' if that makes sense. I'm not sure it works.
Storm does a lot of spinning about and kicking people. Is this really needed? I mean... Seriously.
And there look to be a lot of nice cameo shots for a lot of mutants in the background.... Wheeeee.
So, it comes down to me liking the look of characters (except Storm WTF is up with the black streaks in her hair?) and not sure I like the visual dynamic of the film.
I'm going to go see it. Who knows, Brett Ratner might have been granted some sort of divine miracle...

But if it is anything less than unspeakably horrible, which is the absolute best I expect from it, it will in fact be a divine miracle.
