Why... the /HELL/ was there a tattoo on the shark?

Can someone explain that to me? Why was the shark marked like the food in the bunker?

It was the same as the one on the boxes of food themselves, yeah. Or at least really similar. It was a bit blurry on the screen. It was octagonal and all Asian woodblock print looking.

Well, when Sawyer was getting the pontoon, there was a shark that swam buy and not everyone saw the mark on it but... Well... It was there and it looked like the mark on the food containers.

ooh neat! it's weird the marks on everything in there look like the little chinese luck charms that are in the shape of the emperors palace and have the I-ching markings. I'd like a closer look at them
