So. A few things.

Kyna is in hospital and on lots of medication for pain. She was under observation last night and there will be more test today to see if they can figure out what is wrong. I'm planning on going to see her during visiting hours today and maybe bringing Brian along. He seemed interested when I ran into him on the bus this morning.

There are a few other things that are going badly right now but I'm not going to talk about them here because I really don't want to start anything. Miscommunications that are my fault and things I need to fix before they get more messed up and convoluted. *sighs*

gehn has volunteered (been bribed with cookies) to run something on the 19th of September. We don't know what or when or where or anything like that yet. So, if you people who are normally part of the Monday night gaming have anything you want on record - say it now. We're still really flexible. Also apestyle has volunteered to run something as well but the details on that are even more hazy atm.

EDIT: Kyna is not in the ICU, just in a hospital room. Sorry about that.

As to the gaming, suprise me. The things I'm fiending for right now are not things he knows, and I'd rather have him run something he is comfortable with an dI have to learn than the other way around.

Story wise, I'm up for anything.

So, what kinds of genres are open? I know high-fantasy/D&D is out, which is just fine by me. I'm not so keen on running supers or WoD style games (though I'd play..), so maybe modern fantasy? Hard sci-fi? Space opera? Lovecraftian horror?

Also, who's playing? So far I know about you, Kris, and Steve..

I'm very interested in getting back into gaming with a group, or even one-shotting and hanging out with people. Really kind of depends on the commute though, since while I work in Bellevue,I live in Maple valley, and can't afford to go too excessively far out of my way.

But I'm interested.

Modern fantasy is good. Sci-fi is good. Depends on the space opera, but very potentially.
