Can I say real quick how I hate how stupid I feel when I tackle numbers?

I know how to do this. I know how to find the percentage of change between two numbers but that doesn't mean that I don't think I'm /wrong/ when I do it. It doesn't mean I don't look at the numbers and go... That can't be right.

Anyway.

Dinner and a movie this evening. I think dinner will be around... 7? I figure we can meet at my place. For those who don't know where my place is and need directions, e-mail me! (So far there is really only one of you coming and you need directions but... I'm hoping more people will come.)

And I love this icon.

Just sayin'.

Heh, percentage difference isn't commutative, perhaps that is the problem?

1 pd 2 = +100%
2 pd 1 = -50%

pd(x,y) = (100%) * (y-x)/x

Have fun with the movie, but alas, I expect to be paged shortly after 7pm tonight so I will be unable to join you for dinner. Well, unless it is somewhere I can get reliable network accsess or bail to Barnes & Nobles from.
