I'm home!

It's so nice to be in a place that isn't 90 kajillion degrees outside.

There were other things I was going to say but I don't really need to say them, I don't think and there is a /lot/ of e-mail waiting for me here.

Oh. For Holly. We signed Ozzie for a 1 year deal. I'm thrilled. It's a little scary, though with the overtime shootouts because... well... He has that habit of just not seeing the puck when shot from near center ice..

I need a nap.

I do fear the center-ice shots, but I LOVE goalies who can throw down. He's a scrapper and I heart him. Now if only the Bruins would cough up Lapointe.

Between Ozzie and Legace I think we're fine for goalies.

Zetterberg is currently an unsigned restricted Free agent. It means we haven't made him an offer yet but no one else can until we do. (We're probably checking out how much money we have left beneath the salary cap. Can't be much.) Fischer is still all ours.

Pavel Datsyuk is in the same boat as Zetterberg at the moment and I can't see them both staying unsigned.

I've heard that Datsyuk is starting training camp with Moscow Dynamo over in Russia and is pitching a bit of a fit.
