Hockey, hockey!

So. I just got a phone call from the Canucks.

I sent them off and e-mail about tickets this year and they called me back.

Looks like single game tickets are going to be rough. Very rough to get ahold of when they go on sale in mid-September.

So. They said that I should buy an 11 game pack and that they have weekend packages for people who have to drive up.

To get my name on the list is a fully refundable deposit of $100 Canadian.

1) Anyone up for some hockey?
2) Anyone else interested in an 11 game package of tickets? (If I/you can't make it, we can always sell them off/ give them to others.)
3) I have this guy's phone number, so I can call him and get me and other people on the list if anyone is interested.
4) I really don't want to go by myself but.... I will. Hockey is much more fun with other people along, though.

Well, money will be the big deal here. I want to see who all I can get interested in going and I'm asking the Canucks rep for a little more information on what games are open in the 11 game packages.

I definitely don't want 11 games worth of hockey because that's pretty excessive, but Lu and I would probably be happy to join you for a game. When does hockey season start?

I was actually planning on seeing if you guys would be up for a me visit some time in September maybe? August isn't really full but I'll have done a /lot/ of travelling after this weekend. Want to take a break from it for awhile.

The season starts in October but there is a preseaon that starts in September. They're saying taht the single game tickets will be hard to get ahold of and that's how I normally do it... so... I'm a little... concerned about getting to see the games I want to see. Thus the 11 games. It's more than I'd normally be up for as well.

I must go shopping! There are series I think he'd like but some of them are still a little too mature for him in terms of content. There isn't a /ton/ of it but ehn. There are a few series that should wait like another 5 or six years, much to my regret.
