Well... Maybe I'm just dumb or maybe I still don't have the right uploads on the thing but the Tivo still doesn't like my wireless network. I think I need to have someone come over and look at it to confirm that I'm not just insane or stupid. I really do think I still need to download something more for the lovely thing.

Sean? Cody? Steve? Any of you free later this week? Like Thursday or Friday? Come and poke at my Tivo? I hate this. I know how to set up an A/V system. I hate it when machines make me feel like stupid girl. Especially since my laptop threw a fit this weekend and has been sent to the shop and I'm getting things sent to me to make it work.

There could not be a worse week for my laptop to throw a fit, to be honest. The next two weeks are the big huge summer plot of doom on the MUSH I'm on and I'm a part of it and now I'm stuck with my desktop computer. I know, I know. I still have a computer, I don't have to borrow one but the set up is less than ideal. I need to find a better way to set it all up because sitting there for any length of time makes my arms hurt.

The weekend was good. It was good to see Sean and Kris and Cody. I really think that this living apart thing will make us stronger friends. We weren't to the kill each other point but there were points that were fraying and that's not fun.

What else.... I'm nervous about the scene I have to run on-line this evening. I always am about these things. I have something of a headache this morning. I feel kind of bleh in general. It was really hard to get out of bed.

I think I need some coffee but I really don't want to go get any.

Free tommorow or Thursday night, if you want. When you go into "Phone and Network Settings", does it give yo uany options for wired/wireless networking? What kind of wireless adapter did you get for the TiVo?

Tomorrow I'm going to be at a preview showing of Fantastic Four, so Thursday would be better.

It shows that whole "This how you would do it..." starred option but I can't follow the directions in there because those options don't exist in the menus. There aren't any wireless options that I can find. In fact it still just says, "Phone Settings", I'm fairly sure.

I have a Netgear USB wireless thingy that Steve said should work and the Best Buy guy said should work.... And it works fine with everything else wireless in my house.

I am at 1410 E Howell St. My apartment is literally on the corner of 14th and Howell, up the hill from the former resevoir, now park. (Apartment #3)

I should be home around... 6 or so. Sean is going to come over and fiddle with my Tivo some time this evening as well.
