Oh god. I think Joss would be terrible, but I think this guy will be worse. I didn't read the script spoiler stuff, but ... *sigh* I'd lost my faith anyway.

So the question is should I just go ahead and put the stripe back in my hair now, since X3 is going to suck and there's no point in trying to save my hair for it? :)

Though I agree that having characters as sacred is dumb. If there is no danger... what's the point?

It's not even the killing people that I object to (I agree, cows shouldn't be sacred). I honestly don't think he's got a good grasp of the fundamentals of most of the character personalities, an opinion that I believe is backed up by Emma Frost sounding like Spike and Kitty Pryde sounding like Buffy in Astonishing X-Men. If all he was doing was directing, it'd *probably* be okay, but he'd want to get his hands into the script, and the idea makes me wince.

I think Kitty is much more like Willow. I think he's gotten Kitty and Peter down and... I don't know. It's easily the best freaking X comic written right now.

Claremont makes me sad. Has the new guy taken over the other title yet? I should check.
