It's apartment hunting time this evening.

Wheeeeee. Moving is going to be insane. All four of us moving at different times and places and... only so many resources to manage it.

I'm thinking movers might be seeming like an even better idea. I mean... I'd planned on hiring them for moving my furniture and dealing with boxes on my own anyway but it sounds like a better and better idea as I get closer.

I'm starting to have this urge to pack, as well. Because there is always more than you think there is, you know?

yeah, I hear ya. I'm going back and forth on the moving thing. If both you and Sean are getting movers, though, it makes my life a little better, since our friends won't be torn between you and me.

I'm getting movers for my biggers stuff. I almost have to. I'm not asking anyone to try to move my desk. I don't know if it even fits out of the doorway... and it is rather... heavy.

So... Yeah. Probably movers for my furniture. Boxes are something else entirely.

why not use the movers for boxes too? The ones I used before were really fast, and all of the companies I talked to had a minimum time they charged for (generally two hours), so why not have them get all of it?

It depends on what things end up looking like. It isn't a bad idea. I have this ingrained distrust of movers handling my personal stuff. Too many bad Navy moves.

Having just gone through a trying move across the country, I know how daunting it can feel. Just try not to be overwhelmed, it will all sort out in the end. :) Oh, packing early always a good idea. Take it from the king of packing procrastination.
