I can already tell that today is going to be stupid.

A friend of mine is getting laid off at the end of the week. Tommorrow is our vendor summit and I am the person in charge of the RSVPs. I've been here less than an hour and I've gotten three phone calls and two e-mails about people changing people out and so on and so forth.

Well. The badges are all printed, punks. Any changes now mean you get a handwritten one! HA!

My review is supposed to happen on Thursday. Except that I'm not going to be here on Thursday. So, I might not know anything about anything until I get back from vacation. More and more I get this feeling that this vacation comes at a weird time in the rhythm of my life. It's not going to stop me from going, it's just sort of a signal flare for me. This.... has happened.... before.... At least this odd sort of feeling before heading off like this.

Then again... It is sort of fitting. I start looking for apartments when I get back. I start looking for boxes for packing when I get back.... It's like my life is currently doing some sort of weird stutter step motion.

Oi. I want today and tomorrow to be over. AUGH!
