I like the fact that they didn't take away the russians medals. It wasn't their fault that the judges did what they did (at least, as far as we know).

I was so happy to hear that... they deserved it. I am also glad that everyone recognizes that they deserved it, because I don't want to hear, "They only got it because they whined."

They skated a gold medal performance, and I am pleased that they are getting what they deserve.

Bad calls are part of most sports. The Patriots won the playoff game against the Raiders because of a bad call. (even after the play was reviewed!)

Edberg beat Becker at Wimbledon in '90 because of repeated bad calls.

This is a non-solution solution, since it won't prevent this kind of back room dealing from happening in a sport which is so well known for it.
