I cannot explain how lame I feel right now.

This stomach thing sucks. I mean, I'm to the point where I'm thinking of never eating again and/or doing everything within my power to get everything in my stomach out RIGHT NOW! Of course, some of my body feels the same way as I do.

Sorry if that's TMI.

I've just never quite felt like this before. This is miserable.

It really makes me want to curl up and sleep and hope it is gone when I wake up.

*sighs* That's not really condusive to going to kendo.

Thanks.

I feel miserable but I'm reluctant to talk about it because I hate sounding whiny but then again... I do just feel awful.

I don't want to miss kendo but I do feel wretched. Maybe I'll just go and watch.

Don't do anything but watch, if you go. You're not whiny...this sounds totally blech.

can't hurt to go and watch... maybe stretch out on one of those benches. Maybe check with them and see if there is a scaled-down version of the exercises you can do?

I'm thinking more and more of going and watching, so I'd at least be there.

I know how you feel. It's not TMI, but it *does* suck. After some years I'm finally getting mine seen to, and it's been working. There is hope!

/hugs/

Thanks.

I just feel miserable all around and I'm glad someone else knows what I'm talking about. I mean, of course, someone would but this... Man.

I've been literally a flake for years, because the continual moderate to high pain had me so tired. I didn't realize how bad it was because I'd been dealing so long. I thought that I was just a space case. Now that I'm being treated my own self, I've found myself alot more reliable. Funny what gets fixed when your not sick.

I can totally understand that. This is this sort of pain that is ignorable but it ... it's distracting in weird and insidious ways.

It's like watching T.V. when the reception is okay, but not great. Continual low background fuzz and strange color in the visuals. The human body is weird.

Having been down the same road as you're on more than once myself, here are a few suggestions that held me in good stead. Granted, they sound awful at first glance, but usually they help.

1. If nothing else appeals, make a fried egg. No pepper, no spices, just a little bit of salt (maybe). They'll generally go down pretty easy, don't hurt (as much), and don't try to come back up.

2. Avoid anything that has acid in it. Sodas, teas, coffee, juice. Milk might be okay, but in all likelyhood, it'll make you feel worse. It gets boring, but stick to water.

3. Avoid sugar. This one was the hardest for me. For some reason sugaar really appeals, but it really hurts after about 45 mins.

4. Sometimes spicy food is actually a good thing. For some reason, Thai food never hurt and always made me feel better.

I wish you all kinds of luck. If you need more suggestions, let me know.

Thanks, sweetie.

I've found that yougurt helps already, as long as I eat it slowly and cheese isn't too bad...

I think spicy food is pretty much Ben-Gay for the stomach. Or Aspercreme. Both work by slightly irritating the tissue under the skin--it stimulates blood flow and creates a uniform sensation that helps to distract from the hurt. :)

You probably knew that.

Anyway, maybe some coconut soup?

I'll see if I can find some that I trust.
