There are days where my diet really sucks. My body starts screaming for more sugar in any form. Starches would be /great/ let me tell you. I just want to eat like... a giant bowl of mashed potatoes.

Man, I want a candy bar.

Grrrrrr.

Anyway, to distract, this seems like the year that DC might get the movie thing really going. All word is that Constantine not only does not suck but is a great ride. Then there is Batman and I can't even vocalize how excited I am for that movie. With Marvel's total suckfest of Elektra and the Fantastic Four trailer that doesn't make me shiver.... We'll see.

So... This year's movie extravangaza's are going to kick off with Constantine. It comes out February 18th. I'm letting you all know in advance. When there are theaters selling tickets, I'll let you all know more.

I'm on this stupid anti-candida diet because of all of my digestive issues.

My naturapath thinks I have a horrible candida outbreak so I'm stuck on this diet.

It's worse then atkins. No artifical sweeteners.

Most artificial sweeteners are poisonous anyway. Aspartame is toxic, breaking down into formaldehyde. There was another one a friend showed me (can't remember for the life of me what it was called), and when I researched its primary ingredient, I found it to be the primary ingredient in some rat poisons. Nice stuff, artificial sweeteners. Oddly enough, aspartame has more recently been linked to fatigue and depression. The maple-lemonade recipe below I believe is also good for candida, but don't quote me on that. I don't recall all of its uses, but it does boost the immune system and metabolism (obviously, proportionately to how much cayenne you put in it). Not sure if that will help, though.

For those cravings, mix 2 tablespoons of grade b/#2 maple syrup with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (preferably fresh, but most certainly not concentrate), 12 ounces of warm water, and 1/12 tsp of cayenne pepper. At least, I think that was the recipe. Nutrient-zilla, I call it, though it goes by many names. Provides natural carbohydrates and burns off any calories it may have with the cayenne. ;) -- I just hope you like hot stuff.

Onto a more serious note, I am quite glad I know so little about the Fantastic Four. It is times when I see what appears to be a rather good film that I realize how much I enjoy not having any knowledge of these comics. If I did, I would not doubt be sadly disappointed by the films. So, once it's on video (since I don't go to the threatre, few exceptions) you can expect my word on how well it fairs as a film and not a comic book adaptation. :D
