Huh... well... it seems like I had a good time...

I woke up Saturday morning to a body which was very sore and had odd bruises all over the place. Normally, this would be an indicator of having had a decent time the night before but I just stayed up a bit too late and then went to sleep. So, whoever was using my body could you at least let me know what happened? I mean... it's only polite and all.

It was a nice weekend with a nice amount of snow. I only wish it could have stuck around a bit longer. There might be some when I get home but I really don't think there will be.

As for me... I woke up really early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Like... before my alarm really early. And my alarm goes off about an hour before I get out of bed.

So, I've come in this morning since I really didn't want to just lay in bed for... ever and not get to sleep or worse maybe get sleepy just as I needed to get up.

So... I've been here at least 45 minutes now. I should get some more stuff done beofre everyone comes in and gives me more thing to do.

Wheee.

This is really random and I would email but the power is out at my house, so instead I'm leaving you random comments.

How do you feel about skiing at the end of January? I looked online and the two closest not busy ski areas would be about $100 a day for lift tickets, equipment, etc. I don't think we can manage more than a day without all of us dying. :)

I'm capable of doing any time from 1/19 - 2/22. Would you come up for the weekend or take a day off or?

End of January sounds good to me. I was thinking I'd take a Friday off and come on up on the weekend and have a day built in for recovery.

I get paid on the 31st which is a Monday, so would the first weekend in February work well for you?

Well, if you come up on the 3rd (Thursday), we can go skiing on Friday and not hit any of the possible people bit, which might be pleasant and allow all of us time to relax a bit on Saturday.

That's what I was thinking.

The other factor is how much it would cost to go up via Greyhound or what it would be like to drive. I think that's the really big deal on when I go up.

Right now, I'm leaning toward Driving up Thursday night and having that recovery day in there.

Driving is pretty easy, speaking as someone who did it. It's a short, simple trip. I went through the non-peace arch border crossing with all the trucks (and the fish and wildlife people) and that wasn't hard at all).

Yeah. I'm just sketchy about driving that far by myself. I tend to zone out when driving that long.

Still, I'm not worried. I know most of the way pretty well.

At this point I'm thinking I'll be driving up Thursday night and back down Sunday afternoon.
