I know you've probably seen a lot of posts about sending money to the Red Cross but I thought I would add one more. Not only can you send it directly to the Red Cross directly, you can now also donate to them through Amazon's Honor System and that will be fed into the Red Cross.

So far Amazon has collected $68,186.00 for the Red Cross in 2208 donations. We can do more, people.

When I get paid this week, I know I'm putting money in.

I have an idea about that. I know it's kind of silly, but maybe you could take donations during the New Year's party you throw. Hey, even people bringing quarters adds up and that way people who would normally dismiss donating what's in their change draw would have a chance to pool it with others and have it sent.

I'm thinking of having the "dry," party that way, too, but I wanted to run it past tha main host arounf here first.

I placed a small donation, but wish I could do more. Such a terrible time of year for this to happen, in regard to public fund-raising. Hopefully some of the corporations that get rich this time of year will spare some donations.
