Wow... Lots of strange things going on...
Nov. 9th, 2004 08:16 amInteresting change of business strategies by Best Buy. I hope it doesn't turn around on them. (Check out the article in the Wall Street Journal.)
I have work to do. I should be doing it. Yes, indeed.
Mmmmm. Yeah.

Date: 2004-11-09 05:20 pm (UTC)Don't want to hear it. Do you know how busy I am?
How many titles am I appearing in these days?

Date: 2004-11-09 05:30 pm (UTC)Do you think the writers would let me?
Let's see... Identity Crisis, Green Lantern, my own title... what else am I missing? It's hard to keep them all straight in my mind.
I might even need to get a dayplanner.

You might be in slightly more titles than I am at the moment, but you're doing the exact same thing in all of them. I'm working on resurrection. You all can shut it.

Date: 2004-11-09 06:13 pm (UTC)That's a lovely idea, but I'm anti-death-penalty. Remember, I'm the guy who killed an assassin in self-defense and ran off to a monastary in guilt.
That, and we have a different president in our universe. I'd have to get the Flash to "run so fast he breaks the dimensional barriers" in order to take part in an assassination. I really don't think that would go over so well, especially during the whole "Identity Crisis" thing that's been going down...

Date: 2004-11-09 06:17 pm (UTC)I can DEFINATELY see it biting them in the ass, tho.
For instance, the Best By in Tacoma, I go there to look at movies, video games, and ocassionally TVs, digital cameras and surround sound setups.
A majority of the customers, however, are interested in the stereo systems (car or home) and they like to turn them up REALLY LOUD (to the point that I need to leave the store pretty quick or get a headache).
I can see them "focusing" the Tacoma store towards stereos and making it a place I'll never buy anythign ever again (because I'll refuse to walk in)

Date: 2004-11-09 06:28 pm (UTC)BUT
Best Buy has the worst return policy already
Best Buy doesn't like to stand behind what they sell already
And I doubt I would ever buy anything but DVDs, video games, or MAYBE a digital camera from them ever. All of those, if they break it will be immediately, and I woudl just exchange it for a new item of the same type.
