Apparently I really missed something by not watching Jon Stewart on the Crossfire. He just ripped them apart and I completely agree with what he's saying.

Anyway....

I did some painting yesterday. I did a lot of cleaning at home as well. I'm still in the midst of doing laundry but I'm mostly done with that. What I really wanted out of the weekend was more sleep. Always more sleep.

More sleep out of a weekend would be a wonderful thing. Need to figure out a way to declare Monday to be Sleep Day or something. Or just put afternoon naps into common practice, even at work. Mmm... sleep...

*hugs*

Yeah. That would be nice. I would like a midday nap.

I was a little disappointed in Stewart. Maybe it's because he didn't have the chance, but he didn't tell them precisely what they're doing wrong and how they could do it better. It seemed like he was trying, but thy kept cutting him off.

I agree with you. I would have much rather he gotten the chance to tell them what they could do instead or what they could do better but he did get a few points across. I think that they are losing opportunities - valuable ones.

I loved how he was like, "You're on CNN. I'm a comedy show."

It's a start at least.

I think if Carlson does any research at all, he'll be surprised to learn that people agree more with Stewart than him. I mean, I love politics, and I can't stand those shows.

Those shows drive me crazy. I really don't care to watch people who don't get along in the first place put into a room together and enticed to yell at each other.

I just read the transcript. He made them all look like idiots. They were actually trying to corner him by questioning the soft questions he asked Kerry. It's Comedy Fucking Central, he doesn't have to ask tough questions, he has to make us laugh. Also, I am not sure if it is sad or funny that everyone on the stage had no idea what Jon Stewart was doing to them and how stupid he made them look.
