The weekend...
Sep. 27th, 2004 08:54 amWow. I packed a lot of stuff into my weekend. My weekend needed an extra day for me to do nothing. That's what I think.
Friday I left work early in hopes of picking up X-men Legends and getting the emissions testing for my car completed. Well, that wasn't in the cards because I'd left my lights on and the battery was dead. So, I got a new battery for the car. The coolant light Holly said not to worry about is actually making me worry a little bit since the engine temp never really seems to register much. To pile all the car things all at once, I am also fairly certain that the spedometer is lying to me. I'm not sure by how much, though. I'll have to have someone in the car with me and try to time it.
Saturday I got the emissions test done and then picked up X-men Legends. I haven't played it as much as I would like to but so far it has been a whole lot of fun. I'm sure I'll be playing that some more this week and during the weekend, since I don't ahve anything planned this weekend. (Back! My free time! Mine!) Then I went to EndFest with Kris and Jim. We had a good time and the bands, for the most part, were excellent. I'll post about that seperately at some point. There is some music I have to find, though, because the bands were that good.
Yesterday was sleeping in some, playing Civ some and then helping Steve move. Helping Steve move was more and less than I was expecting it to be but that's cool. The U-haul truck didn't want to start and so I made it start. Don't ask. I don't know. I just think the vehicular gods owed me something back after the rest of the weekend. Then Steve took us all to dinner and I had yummy, yummy steak. Mmmmmm. Yum!
So, Happy Birthday
c_jyd and Happy Birthday
grymor.
And for those of you who read down this far, have a present.
