These aren't MY Star Wars movies. These have been changed and changed again...And I don't like the changes at all. I know I sound like one of those internet naysayer types, but it's just my opinion. I wish they sold the documentary disc by itsself...That I'd buy...
I'm giving it a year until Lucas releases the ORIGINAL versions of the movies on disc. That's the way he works.
I don't know if he ever will. If he does, it will be after Episode 3, most definately but I don't think he will. He feels that these changes make it the way it should be.
I know it's his baby and he has control, but he's destroyed the charm by putting in too many bells and whistles. That's what the prequels are missing for me: Charm and heart. They're all tech, no soul.
I actually haven't been paying much attention, are these the special editions from 97ish, or have they been changed even further? If so, is there a summary of the changes somewhere?
There are more changes. Even some interesting dialogue changes. It makes it... Well... Interesting. I'll find the link for you.

Ah. Thanks. If Han had shot first, they hadn't changed Boba's voice, and they'd removed the dance number in Jedi, I probably would have picked it up. As it is, I'll just be sad I didn't have the foresight to buy the original on VHS or laserdisk.
