It's interesting when you realize that you're saying something and you know the person you're talking to doesn't understand the point you're trying to make. They think you're saying one thing but... no. That's not what you're saying. You're saying this similar but distinctly different thing. This makes a lot of difference in a lot of situations. Specifically at work.

Of course, I'm not sure how people mess up due dates.
