I went to the gym this morning after a week or so of slacking off. It felt really good. I know I need to keep it up and keep going. As long as I keep waking up and not instantly falling back to sleep, I'll be keeping it up.

It's misting outside. Not quite raining but misting. I'd like to see a full fledged rain at some point today. That would be nice.

I'm feeling mostly better and now I know that there are some things I am just not going to eat again. The reaction was less than pleasant. Make sure to talk to the doctor about it today since, fun fun, I'm going to the doctor's office today. Wheeeee. Pokey and proddy bits. Ugh.

All of the engagements and the house buying.... It's interesting. I thought that these things would make me depressed and they haven't. There are a few specifically I though I would have some sort of reaction to but didn't. I'm not really sure what the heck that means. I'm hoping it means I'm okay with where I am and what I'm doing. I'll give it some time and see. It really is all I can do. It's interesting that I've acheived this balance of ... mostly happy.

A note to self - Don't make a fool of myself for no reason. There are other people who are better at it than you are. (Making fools of themselves, that is.)

So. Time to catch up on what I missed and keep on going. It should be an interesting day.

I wish I could join in that fun. It is going to be a few more years before I can get to that point though.

I am in the paying of bills/saving part of my home buying agenda. I am looking at 2-3 years before I will be able to get to that point.

Heh. I'm no where near the financial position to do that. Maybe a condo, though.

Just don't buy a house with a bunch of people the way that you rent. That tends to backfire :/

Hell no. The way to go that route is for one person to buy the house, then draw up leases and rent to the other people.

Oooooooooooooooooooh!

That sounds like fun!

I want to draw up leases now.

I have a friend who used to make costumey stuff. She got really into giving invoices for her work just cause she felt all professional when she did that.

Yep. That's the way to go if you're going to do that.

Oh no. No no no. I'd never do that. I'd go the way Jameel suggests.

Watch out for mold. It ain't easy or cheap to clean up. We had to gut an entire room. Now that room is airy and bright. Of course, we're moving anyway, since this place is too expensive and a pain to maintain the yard with all our allergies. Already sold the place. Now we just need to find a place to stay before mid-September when the new owners are moving in.

If you can, definately buy a home. I bought mine about two years ago. Actually, I bought a condo. I really like it.

I'm all up for buying a condo at some point. I really dislike dealing with money issues, though. I know I'm not to the point of buying a place yet but I hope I will be in a few years.

Buying a home is the most exciting and nerve-wracking experience you may ever have, short of having a child. You will sign more papers than you have never thought possible. However, the light at the end of the tunnel is that once you're done, it's all yours. You want one plaid wall and one paisly wall, go for it. If you want to rip up the carpet and put in styrofome peanuts, go for it.
