There is just a complete about face on Superman in the past week and it really sounds like they're getting it right.

Bryan Singer directing (though that might stop him from making X-men 3). His writers for are the same as for the two X-men books. Apparently Singer wants to just continue the Superman movies... starting with explaining where he's been for so long. (No word on what he'll do with the junk that was the 4th movie.) It's an interesting idea.

John Ottman has said he'll be doing the soundtrack...

Anyway, now the rumors are that Richard Donner and his wife Lauren Shuler Donner are in negotiations for producing and that they're looking to get Christopher Reeve involved with that as well.

So many movies to see this weekend. Augh.

While I would like to see somebody decent do Superman, I would much, much rather see Singer do X3. Snf.

Yeah. Me too but Superman doesn't prohibit him from doing it. It just makes scheduling much more difficult, especially since he's supposed to be remaking Logan's Run in here somewhere as well.

Well, he can alternate the X-Men and Superman franchises, and squeeze in Logan's Run during a long summer in the next two or three years.

That's what I hope he does, yeah. I'm sure he'll be sick of comic book movies, but boy, that's what I hope he does. :)
