Yesterday - Well, I went home early cause work was funky. I took a small nap and then went to karate. Shihan came up and chatted with me for a bit, asking where I had been and telling me that if I'm sick I can give it to everyone else. He says he never gets sick and he could use the day off. We relearned the three sai katas we're doing because they changed them for tournement. They took out some of the cool things and put in some other things, but in the end they're a little easier.

Then Sean and I went to Kris' parents place. We watched Enterprise - which was pretty good. I'm hoping linguistics chick continues to be less of a wuss. West Wing kicked ass. I really enjoyed it. My favorite quote was, "So what do you call having to be afraid that the pizza place you're eating in is going to blow up?" "Isreal." It's not a joke - it was serious. I really enjoyed it and I thought it handled everything in a serious, mature and intelligent manner. I'm glad someone out there is actually *dealing* with the incident. Law and Order was okay, but I hate the new chick. She's lame and always looks like she's faintly sunburnt.

Came home. Slept. At work now. Forgot my badge. Bleh. Sleepy. Need some tea or something to wake me up.

Kris makes an excellent steak. Yummy, yummy, yummy.

I also liked the part where they tried to explain that Muslims themselves aren't the enemy. "Islamic Extremists are to Islam as the KKK is to Christianity."

I like the fact that the Translation Officer is a total wuss! It's nice to see someone who realizes that, yes, there IS a vacuum out there waiting to explode you while it burns and freezes you at the same time. ::grin:: She's got character. =D

Nyeh. No. She reminds me of Troi, who was for the most part useless. It annoys me when female characters are all screamy and stuff.

Noway. Unlike Troi, she actually does stuff. She may be a little wussy, but she still has a thirst for knowledge. Did you see her eyes when she started talking about all the languages she'd come into contact with? She'd kill for those languages. With a spoon. =p

Hopefully. I just saw too much of the useless stand around character. I have hope for her, but... We'll see.
