Morning...

I'm still not sure if it is a good one. I'll get back to you one that.

[profile] c_jyd, [profile] archeon and [personal profile] zzyzx all need to get together and talk about Identity Crisis. They're all coming from similar places and have had differing reactions... some what. It would be and interesting conversation.

Game was great last night. I'm glad my character is as fast as she is. It makes it so she can be in... Oakland (or San Jose) and be back at the Gatekeepers mansion in a matter of minutes (possibly less). It makes some things easier.

I am really tired. This is, of course, because I couldn't get to sleep to save my life. There were scrabbly noises in the bathroom again this morning. I hate to think they've gotten through the wood out there already.

There was something else I wanted to post about but I can't seem to hold onto it enough to form words out of it. Maybe later.

Heh, I think we've started talking anyway, or at least zzyzx and I. Will have to do some reading.

I thought Identity Crisis #1 was mean.

MEAN MEAN MEAN.

...and well written. I liked how Batman was nowhere to be seen since he was so busy working on the case.

I'm of course intrigued by the connection to Dr. Light.

It was extremely well written. I fully grant that.
I just think it was mean in one of the worst possible directions it could have been. There's a lot of my favorite characters I'd rather have seen killed than Sue Dibny. She and Ralph are too unique in comics in general, DC or otherwise. Or were...
This story ruins them both for anything beyond this one crossover, which is deeply, deeply unfortunate.

Did you um...Did you read the script?

I'm sure you did.

Or...you should.

MUAAA HA HA HAAAA!

I totally did. I even replied to you about it.

Fine. I see how important I am. I get it.

(Seriously, though. Thank you.)

I don't recall getting the reply...i'm sorry.

Did you like it? I was suprised beyond belief.

There were points where I actually gasped while reading it. It normally doesn't happen to me when reading scripts but there were points where I could see exactly what he was trying to convey. It was pretty sweet.

I hope to God it's the real deal. The last couple of movies just...were so...bad.

Soured me.

Although I think Clooney would have been bad-ass had the script been more than just a series of poor one-liners.

Agreed, though Clooney now says he shouldn't have taken it at all and is sorry he killed the franchise.

I know that what we've read is apparently the first draft, so there are likely changes from it but... stilll. Man.

Apparently the word is they're so eager with this movie they're desperately trying to scrape together a trailer to put in front of Spidey 2. A YEAR! (Of course everything I hear about Spidey 2 says that I'm just going to sit there blissed out at the end of that movie.)

The Spider-Man 2 (which I STILL think they should've called 'The Amazing Spider-Man') trailer makes me giddy.

They were going to call it that but apparently Sony and Marvel had a bit bitchfest about it for some reason.

Spidey2 makes me giddy... Everything Batman I've seen makes me giddy. Waiting for that is going to be just as bad as waiting for Return of the King.

It's a good time to be a geek.

I have tons of scripts, if you're into that stuff...Unproduced stuff is the best...Like the WATCHMEN script by Sam Hamm or the myriads of Superman scripts..First drafts...Let me know if you're interested.

I think it was the Bat-Nipples that ultimately broke the franchise.

As for Identity Crisis it sounds good but I'm weary of any D.C. titile with "Crisis" in the title ;)
