This is the funniest thing I've seen with a superhero in it since .... I don't even know.

Wow. So funny. And it's Superman.

You have to go watch this now!

And don't forget the sing along!

That RULES! The best is Jerry running interference for Superman when Green Lantern calls.

I know. It's hilarious. It even works, if you think about it.

So great.

HEY!

Superman can be funny!

There's nothing he can't do!

I'm sorry sweets but out of all of the heroes I've had the least positive experiences with Supes. It was probably when I tried reading but I never saw the character from the movies in the comics, you know? The comics guy was kind of the great big boring Boy Scout.

Why am I the only one to appreciate Superman?

Clearly, I just need to point people to the right comics. Of all the stuff in comics, he's had some -really great- moments in comics writing in the past 5 yrs.

Or, at least read my RP of him! That can't be too bad? Right??

I love the movie. I love your RP of him. There are moments where he's been in other comics where I've liked him.

I maintain that Superman is the best comics movie ever. Even in light of the recent successful Marvel Movies.

And read Superman/Batman! Great, great monthly. :)

I will respectfully disagree with you about the SupermanBatman comic. It is very good but only sporatically. It feels disjointed from issue to issue, almost as though different writers are trying to write one storyline.

The issue with Hawkman/Capt. Marvel beating them was great for example. The followup issue was confusing and poorly scripted.

There was a weak issue. When they're have only been 8, one out of eight isn't that bad. The most recent two have been really, really awesome.

I do read that. It's nice Silver Age light cheese. It's really growing on me.

I think it might be, though Spidey... We'll see.

There are some characters out there who are REALLY easy to do badly... but when they're done right, there are few characters who are cooler.

Superman is one of them.

Captain America is another.

Superman done right: check out the Warner Brothers animated series from the 90's. So very good.

Odd. I like both characters.

I have played both characters.

I would love to write both characters.

Man, I hope I don't do them badly.

A lot of people do Captain America as blindly patriot. That's the wrong way to do it.

Instead, Steve Rogers represents all that is good and pure in America, while fighting against what's bad in it. A great example of good Cap writing would be back in the early 90s, when he was partnered with Diamondback (still my favorite girlfriend for Cap, and no one can convince me otherwise).

Superman is a similar case.

"I hear you love the Geezers, too!"

"No, those are gysers..."

Heee hee. That was particularly enjoyable because I was in Oklahoma! for a summerstock in highschool. That made more references to cows, though...

Yeah. The Sing Along was great. That is just comedy genius.
