It was a good weekend. The party went off really well, I feel. I got a little tipsy but nothing approaching what I was at at New Years where I babbled insanely at anyone I could find. No, it was a good party. At the begining of it I was feeling distinctly anti-social, so I talked to Mike for awhile. Mike is always someone I can be around even when I don't want to be around anyone at all. Of course, that make entire sense considering that we've pretty much run the gamut of emotions.

I spent lots of time with Holly too and Holly is that other person I can be with no matter what. Having lived with her and also pretty much run the full range of possible emotions... I'm pretty comfy feeling not so spritely around her.

Also Adam and Jen and that was pretty cool too.

Thank you to those who gave me presents! It's always appreciated.

Sunday was D&D as ususal. My character stabbed Steve's character. She'd been wanting to do it for years and it was just one thing too many and so stabby, stabby, stabby. She'd have been lethal about it except he's still useful and we're trying to save the world because... well... Where else would we live?

Friday I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I, personally, think this movie is about the disection of love through memory. It systematically pulls apart a relationship, looking at the hows and whys of love through memory. There is a lot of other stuff in there, such as Fate and the collective unconcious, but I think it is a good look at how people become who they are and interact with each other and how memories make us who we are.

"Joel, I'm not a concept. Too many guys think I'm a concept or I complete them or I'm going to make them alive, but I'm just a fucked up girl who is looking for my own peace of mind. Don't assign me yours."

I need to put that in my quote book. I /liked/ Clementine.

I had an absolutely amazing scene on BnB this weekend which makes up for the fact that I woke up really, really early that morning. And I had a great one after that which showed me the dramatic change that the first one caused. It was a good roleplaying weekend.

Finally... I stayed up way too late last night talking. It doesn't hurt that breathing was difficult whenever I tried to lay down, so stay up was distinctly more comforting. Of course, I'm not tired this morning which is either a sign or a sneak attack. We'll see how I feel after work.

Yeah. Go figure. What a small world.

I think it is starting to catch up to me a bit. I need a nap.

Talking is good, though.

Happy birthday

To you, happy birthday to you!

Sorry I didn't make the party. Prior engagements for that weekend with another birthday celebration. But, happy birthday!
