It's morning!

First, gratuitous pictures of Orlando Bloom. There is only one in here that really gets me. Though there is a second that tugs a little. Those who know me should have little difficulty guessing which one really grabs me.

Next, I seem to have little in the way of grace or reflex today. Turning around in my room I almost fell over twice. I hate days like this. With my luck when I go to the gym this evening I'll spear myself on something. I should do arms this evening. Arms and back, I think.

I should check in with what happened with the pictures for Arisia. I only actually had two. Maybe I should find a good picture or two of Tinkerbelle and send those too.

Apparently today is a slight paranoia day. Wheeeeeee.

I have a severe desire to go dancing. I will wait for Con and dance there. I should buy some new shoes before going to Con. I need a new pair of low heels. And it is always tempting to bring the Heels of Doom but I never have the courage to wear them out of the room. Though being close to six feet tall is sweet.

This morning listening to the radio in Cody's car they said that they were and Alternative station and then played Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel. *blinkblink* I /like/ Peter Gabriel but....Alternative? I don't think so.

What else? I had a dream about music last night. I can't really say more than that since my memory of it is very hazy. RP last night was excellent. Adam and Jen stopping by was also excellent. I would have loved to see the rest of Robin Hood but I was just falling asleep as I sat there.

Every time you use that icon, I get confused, because another friend of mine has got the lion dancing with the knife and fork as her icon, and I don't get past the colors before I identify the icon as belonging to X person, only it keeps belonging to Y!

Sledgehammer was way before Alternative existed. That was mainstream 80s pop.

Yes, but Gabriel and Bowie and Talking Heads fall into that weird area of mainstream rock/pop that was clearly of a bent that later became alternative, and so got classified as a weird "classic alternative." They certainly tend to be enjoyed by the same people who liked later alternative.

I'll agree that it is what became alternative but I can't make myself call that alternative. It wasn't an alternative. It was mainstream, even if on the edges of it.

I went and looked at the Orlando Bloom pictures. I didn't figure out which one you liked, because I was too busy going, "Why is Orlando Bloom snuggling with a Goffin's cockatoo? Does he own one?" Then I had to go look.

It seems he does not, thus that was a random cockatoo picturing.
