*sigh*

Please let that get lost somewhere and never come out. I'll read the books and admit to being addicted to them but wow is making them into movies a /horrible/ idea. Just horrible.

There is so much fantasy better suited to film out there.

Someday I'll become a fabulously wealthy media mogul and I'll hire you as my advisor when my artistic/commercial vision fails me.

Sure. I could do that.

"No, no, no! Dear God, don't make that!"

Or

"Why the hell hasn't someone made this by now?"

Sure.

If they do go through with it it better be good and they better not do what has been done to the Vampire Chronicals. Okay so Interview was good and pretty much kept to the book but they still didn't take any of Anne's ideas and incorperate em into the movie. Though I kind of would rather have Wheel of Time done as a mini series or like a Record of Lodos Wars style anime. I really can't picture anyone really that would fit well to some of the characters of the series.

So what series would you prefer? I think some of Robin Hob's stuff would be nice, but that's just cause I gotta stick up for a Tacoma girl. I met her at a Ray Bradbury reading at Frist Babtist downtown, and I didn't know who she was (she didn't mention she was an author). She had this darling little daughter with her who was bored as sin and being obnoxious. We found out that Mr. Bradbury wasn't going to be signing anything, so I gave Robin some copies of the books I had ran out and bought that afternoon (I know one of the two was definitely R is for Rocket... She sent me a signed copy of the Assasin's Aprentice and I yummed it up even though I'm not a fan of long series. I like short story fiction. Anyways, Robin is such a sweetie and she deserves a big fat check.

I think Lois McMaster Bujold's stuff could be convereted to film. I would love to see the Kushiel books made into film but I doubt that will ever happen - too much sex. I don't think Robin Hobb would be a bad choice, either.

Okay, Ms. Hobb is a nice person, but why the Assassin Trilogy? I mean, was it the same books I read? :(

Hell, I remember, middle of the third book, I was praying to God to make me suddenly illiterate so I wouldn't have to deal with the series anymore.
