litheraThe Spider-Man animated series will not be returning to MTV for a second season. (Booooo!)
Apparently there is flak coming from the American press about there being no American actors in the new Batman movie. Bah, I say. (Morgan Freeman is from Tennesee.) I have no problems with the casting of this movie.
New episodes of Clone Wars will resume when Chapter 11 premieres on Friday, March 26 at 9:30 p.m.. Subsequent chapters will air weeknights at 8 p.m. from Monday, March 29-Thursday, April 8. Star Wars: Clone Wars marathons will air Friday, April 9, and Saturday, April 10.
On Catwoman - Halle added that, "Patience is a graphic artist, so it makes sense that she'd have a great costume. She has an artistic side that comes out in her behaviour, her drawings and her relationships. She looks like a warrior." She does? Could have fooled me.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind opens March 19th. I want to see this movie. Jim Carrey seems to be picking good stuff recently.
Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang is a film noir movie. It "is the tale of a thief who poses as an actor and then teams up with a private eye and a frustrated actress to solve a murder." So far it has Val Kilmer, Robert Downey Jr. and Corbin Bernsen.
4Kids Entertainment, Inc. announced today that it has reached an agreement for Warner Bros. Pictures, a division of Time Warner, Inc., to distribute Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Movie, the first theatrical motion picture based on the hit Yu-Gi-Oh! animated television series. Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Movie was produced by 4Kids Entertainment in association with Shueisha, TV Tokyo and Nihon AD-Systems. The film will be released across the U.S. on August 13, 2004.
A sneek peek of the upcoming Batman animated series will air on Saturday, March 13 on KidsWB!
The script for the Firefly movie, Serenity, is set approximately six months after the events of the final episode, and most of the cast have already signed on to reprise their roles.
Hugh Jackman will host the 2004 Tony Awards for the second year in a row. Jackman will also likely be a nominee for his role in The Boy From Oz, which opened last October. The awards show will be held June 6 from Radio City Music Hall, and will be televised by CBS.
Oliver Stone seems to be staying pretty true to the story of Alexander. That means we're in for some... ummmm... disturbing things. Val Kilmer is the right person to play King Phillip. I'll leave it at that.

As actors, that is. As erratic as they are personally, I think putting BOTH of 'em in the same movie is...well, pretty darn brave. (DAY TWO: Kilmer walks off set, Downey arrested for possession.)
